Projects developed with MonkOS as a conceptual or methodological framework identify MonkOS as their theoretical frame. Authors retain full ownership of their implementations, domain knowledge, and innovations.

Coherence includes the preservation of origin. A system should maintain the traceability of decisions and of the concepts from which those decisions emerged.
