Why the Word Exists
Existing disciplines examine language, symbols, communication, and interpretation, but they do not fully describe meaning as an active system with states, tensions, flows, and transformations.
Semonika was created to provide that missing framework.
Word Formation
The word is built around sema — sign, meaning, or semantic unit — and formed as the name of a distinct field of study.
It does not refer only to words. It includes non-verbal meaning, relational meaning, semantic resonance, dissonance, and the transition from potential meaning into articulated form.
