Capacity & choice

Mir

Stable relation to input
Canonical MonkOS term

A stable relation of a system to incoming signals, in which unnecessary reactive turbulence does not occupy the attention and capacity needed for choice and action.

Why this term exists

Choice needs a relation to input that is not immediately consumed by reaction. Mir names this stable operating condition without requiring outer silence or immobility.

Definition in the system

A stable relation of a system to incoming signals, in which unnecessary reactive turbulence does not occupy the attention and capacity needed for choice and action.

Canonical boundary / operational note
