An elementary step of duration and path: the smallest modeled increment by which change acquires persistence and trajectory.

Change becomes form only when coherence lasts long enough to give it a path.

Why this term exists

Change is often described as if time and trajectory were separate containers. Trajon binds a modeled duration-step and spatial/path increment into one iterative unit of persistence.

Definition in the system

Trajon is used in Trajon Theory to describe how a change can accumulate into a finite path rather than remain an isolated instant. Repeated Trajon steps form a Trajnica, a bounded path of persistence.

The concept is intentionally tied to coherence: a step matters not merely because time passed, but because enough relation survived the step for the next state to remain part of the same evolving form.

The current formal frequency assigned to the model is a working postulate, not an established physical constant. The useful conceptual core does not depend on presenting that postulate as experimentally confirmed.

Example

A melody is not one note and not merely elapsed time. It becomes a recognizable form because successive differences remain coherently related along a path.

What it is not

Trajon is not a unit of attention and is not interchangeable with generic response time.
